How I got from hairy to hairless baby smooth skin?

Well today's topic is pretty embarrassing to me as I am now revealing to the world that I am not the typical hairfree girl but I got quite a lot of unsightly body hair and it gotten more lately which I have no idea why...(could be due to me having more of male hormones) I really want to get rid of the hair totally, but have no idea how as I don't want to shave as shaving will only leads to more hair growth and it will only make things worst as the new growth of hair will be thicker and longer and grows faster each time I shave. I even thought of going into taking Estrogen (some kind of hormone pills intake to make a person more feminine, if that person wants to change their sex from a guy to a female or they have hormone imbalance which I suspect I have even though my family members strongly disagree.) I told my boyfriend Baby Dee that I suspect I am having hormone imbalance due to the sudden hair growth, but he told me it''s normal for girls to have hair and don't do anything to harm your body as taking hormonal pills will even change your character as well.

So, I tolerate staying put with those unsightly body hair of mine for the god knows how long as I don't want to shave as it will only prompt more body hair growth. I was searching on Lazada website  the other day and found something call the epilator. I have no clue what it is so I continue reading and found out that it is something which looks like a shaver but it's actually many tweezers combine together. I'm so amaze as it stated at the site that after epilating your body hair, unlike shavers or tweezers the hair will become finer and finer after epilating and will be even lesser. The body hair will only grows back after 4 weeks which is amazing!!!Imagine having baby smooth skin for about 4 weeks? It is definitely very good and convenient for lazy people like me who don't like the idea of constant removal of hair which tends to be quite troublesome at times.

I didn't waste much time and quickly put down my order online at LAZADA and the site promises to deliver their goods in 2-3 business days for me. (which is great easy shopping) I ordered 2 epilators on Friday and Emjoi Tweeze arrived on Monday while my Philips Satinelle arrived on Tuesday. It's cash on delivery which is very convenient and cool as somehow I felt much more comfortable paying on the spot.

Displaying 20140127_215915_resized_1.jpgDisplaying 20140127_215923_resized_1.jpgThis is the Emjoi Tweeze, due to it's lack of tweezer. I would highly recommend to use it only for the face (mustache area) as it will take a very long time. Overall due to the price rm23.00 and rm8.00 for VAT. I would say it's worth it. But you would need 2AAA batteries to operate it. It also does not pull out body hairs that are longer  than 5mm which can be quite troublesome at times as they state its better for you to trim. There is no need to apply pressure while using the Emjoi Tweeze and you need to use it in a circular motion on the skin.

I've tried using the Emjoi Tweeze on my legs but it didn't managed to get rid most of the body hair but I did managed to epilate quite an amount after lets say 30 minutes on 1 leg...(It's really tiring too as you need to make sure your holding the Emjoi Tweeze at the right angle which is 90 degrees the whole time. The pain factor is not really an issue it's just that the epilator is too small to be able to remove a huge area of body hair on your skin and that could be quite frustrating if you are not the patient type. It is also advisable to epilate your body hair at night or in the evening, as some people skin tends to get red patches. (mine luckily didn't)

The next epilator I brought from LAZADA which is the Philips Satinelle. The price for this is about rm109.00 without VAT as the price alone is much more pricey than the Emjoi Tweeze. So far the delivery service from LAZADA I would give a 10/10 as they delivery the goods as promise in a short period of time and you got the option to chose whether you want to pay cash on delivery or you can pay online for the goods that you brought.

Displaying 20140128_134827_resized_1.jpgThese are all the contents that were in the box for Philips Satinelle. I'm liking the name already as 'Satinelle' kind of give me the imagination of a smooth silky legs just like satin (LMAO) Anyhow, I am really happy and glad that the box includes a charger for the Philips epilator as using batteries could be quite troublesome at times if you ran out of them.Displaying 20140128_134837_resized_1.jpgDisplaying 20140128_134843_resized_1.jpg Displaying 20140128_134857_resized_1.jpg
If you were to ask me how does a epilator looks like? I would say it looks like a electronic shaver just that it's many tweezers in disguise. It's nice to hold in the hand and can have a nice grip of it while epilating. Light weight which is good as you don't know how long you will be holding it while epilating your body hairs. (the time duration roughly depends on how much body hair you would want to eliminate) I got quite a lot of body hair but by using this Philips Satinelle I can tell you guys happily that it does not take so much of my time due to the many tweezers included inside the epilator itself. You can chose the speed you want 1 is for finer hair or when you are epilating near the knee area (roughly anywhere that is less fleshy and nearer towards the bone) and 2 is for rougher hair which chances are high would be legs, bikini line and armpit area. The amount of time I need to epilate my body hair with this device? (Just 8-10 minutes) The pain factor? (feels more like ants bite, but you will get used to the pain after the 1st try and it feels like nothing.)
Displaying 20140128_140431_resized_1.jpgThis is a pic of me with the Philips Satinelle after I'm done epilating. (look at the amount of body hair accumulated on the device itself...GROSS... I cannot even imagine myself exposing my hairy self to the world just to show you how great are these 2 devices...=/)

They state that by epilating your body hair, your body hair won't grow for another 4 weeks which is great!!!As you can get to enjoy baby smooth skin and hassle free from all the hair drama...Unlike shavers, your body hair will end up getting finer and finer than before and the amount will be lesser the longer you epilate which is like a dream comes true~~~^-^

Where I buy these epilators = http://www.lazada.com.my
They ship nationwide, check them out and happy shopping. Hopefully my blog helps you get rid of your unwanted body hair.

Working on Public Holidays

It's pretty difficult to go to work the next day morning knowing that all of your friends including your family members are having the day off the following day. Well that is exactly what happened to me last 14th as well as 17th which is a Tuesday and a Friday. I basically worked on both Public Holidays which is Prophet Muhammad's Birthday as well as Thaipusam without any replacement leave given nor is there any extra payment given either.

You can guess my reaction

I kind of dragged myself out of my warm cozy bed and drove to work. Luckily due to the public holidays on Tuesday as well as Friday, there is hardly any traffic as probably most people are still snoozing happily in their comfy beds unlike me (sobs). I managed to reach my work place within 35 minutes unlike the usual 1 hour.

After reaching my work place, another shocking news which I received. I need to do warehouse work which is like carrying heavy fabrics from huge plastic bags almost as tall as me. (I am very petite)
This kind of job aren't in my job description, and it is supposedly a foreign worker job or for someone who applied for warehouse. (basically someone who went for an interview and it's in their job description to do so) Unfortunately, I am working under a china-man company (meaning a Chinese operated company that is really into money saving) all the workers have to suffer and do basically everything that is throw at them without much hesitation.

There is a good and bad working under such company:

  1. You get used to multitasking. It's basically your 2nd nature.
  2. You learned the importance of money saved. Every penny counts.
  3. You become an all rounder.
  4. You are basically everything. (fashion designer, graphic designer, fashion merchandiser, warehouse assistant, packer, admin, door opener)
  5. You have more skills than you ever had before you join the company, due to the workload thrown at you.
  6. You learned more than you ever do in bigger companies.
That day, I managed to reach home just by driving for 40 minutes unlike the usual 1 hour 30 minutes which could drag on to 2 hours 30 minutes!!! (Imagine how much petrol being wasted due to that?! It's like driving back to my hometown Taiping...)

Really love kids

This morning I had brunch with my dad, Lil bro and my dad's friend together with his 2 lil son Aiden 5 years old and also Daniel which is 9 years old. We brought them to Village Park to have nasi lemak. (a local Malaysian delicacy)
It tasted wonderful and I really enjoyed the company of the 2 lil kids. They are really a joy to be with, especially the youngest one which is Aiden. He is so talkative and cheeky. Could be very naughty at times but is very obedient so far. When he wanted to add more 100 plus into his already half full cup, he asked his dad permission first and when his dad didn't allow him to do so. He listened which is good as nowadays kids I noticed are quite rude to their parents and it could be pretty difficult to teach them if you don't start them young.

I also ordered Milo Dinosaur as I was very hungry. I have no idea why do I feel hungry most of the time these days. In the pic of the Milo Dinosaur caption you can have a sneak peak of the cute Aiden. Which I sneakily took just now. He really reminds me of chicken little the cartoon character due to his eyes and lips plus his very cheeky grin which sums it all. (Wished that I could just take a video just now to show you guys how talkative and playful he is.) His elder brother on the other hand is more matured and not as playful as the younger brother.

Badly burn boiling oil victim being discharge after just being in hospital for one day

Yesterday I was talking to you guys about the this poor old lady in her late 60's being very unlucky as she trip over the umbrella which supports the kuali which contains the 3 big bottles full of boiling oil, and due to the lack of support from the umbrella due to the trip from the old lady, the kuali over turn and spilled it's contains onto the poor lady back, neck as well as hands. Due to the event, the poor old lady is badly burn and was rush to the hospital as hot oil spilling onto skin is a tricky business as the boiling heat is being trap within the oil and it's almost like you are deep frying your skin unintentionally.

Despite all these, the old lady which I mentioned earlier, surprisingly she was discharge after only being in the hospital for just less than one day!!! I think It's a miracle, as I was thinking of going to the hospital to pay a visit. I'm genuinely surprise by the fact she was able to go home after such short duration of care by the hospital staffs, thought she will be in emergency ward or something due to her badly burned body. Not too sure whether she left for home early due to the thinking of lessening the burden for her husband or  the hospital bills is just too much for her and her husband to afford or it is just a miracle she recovered that fast within one day and no further treatments needed???

Well anyhow, I will continue to pray for her speedy recovery as well as well being and hope this miracle continues. Help to pray along if you're free as I don't think it will take that much of your time, and it's for the poor old lady. =)

Horrific self inflicted accident seen live!!!

Today my mom and my grandma witness one of the most horrifying self inflicted accident in Section 17 Market. It was a normal day and my mom and her mother was waiting for their breakfast to be served while this incident actually happened. The lady selling yow char kwai accidently trip over on the base of the big umbrella at her stall. Unlucky for her the umbrella was supporting the big kuali with hot boiling on. When the poor lady trip and fell , the whole kuali which contained the big pot of hot boiling oil onto  her back. (Try to imagine 3 big bottles full of hot boiling oil being spilled to your back, definitely not a pretty sight.=( )

She Screamed out in pain as her whole back, neck and both hands were burnt very badly . All her fingers have terrible blisters.

her skin are peeling off due to the boiling oil being accidentally poured on her. She was in so much pain that initially she was screaming her lungs out due to the pain, but after awhile the pain got too much that she couldn't talk anymore. Everyone in the place was too shock to even react, but luckily many of the market folks were very kind and they all came to her aid as she was alone manning the stall by herself while her husband was in another place manning another store. (he have no idea of the situation of his wife at that time when the horrible incident happen) At first, many people thought it was a robbery due to her scream. The market folks came immediately and send her to get immediate help at the hospital. I bet it will definitely won't be an easy task for her to even sleep at night as her back will look worst off than the man in the picture as the boiling oil spilled over her whole back which I myself could imagine how pain it would be. Hopefully that poor lady be able to have a speedy recovery as she is not that young anymore at the age of late 60's for something like this to happen to her. It is a horrific way to start the new year...='(

Please help to pray for this old lady for her condition to greatly be improve as well as if anyone have any information on which hospital this lady is please let me know. Thanks.

Being told that you look a lot younger than your age, is it good or bad?

Today's topic : Being told that you look a lot younger than your age, is it good or bad?

If you are told that you look younger than your age how would you feel? Do you take it as a compliment or taking it negatively?

Today I was working as usual, and this foreign worker at my work place said to me, "Eh? Kenapa you ponteng skolah arini?" (Eh?Why did you skip school today?) I'm speechless, as this happened to me once before when I was in the wet market helping my mom carry the groceries she brought and this Chinese uncle who was selling fish to my mom asked why aren't I attending school like the other kids? I found out later that he thought that I'm 12, at that point of time I was 22. It happened again today, quite similar situation like the last time except I've upgraded from just being primary school girl looking to being old enough for secondary school which is good enough to make me happy for the moment. He got a shocked look on his face when I told him my age which is 24 (going on 25 in May)As  he and his colleague thought I'm 13, which is hilarious.

To me if you are being told that you look like you are 20 at the age of 30's  then that a compliment. If it's the other way round, like if you are not that old like early 20's and

The watch that countdown to your death

I was in the car on the way home listening to the radio as usual. Some interesting topic the DJ have on today, which is the Ticker watch. The watch that gives you constant reminder to when you are going to die. The funny part of the watch is that it actually aims to give you the actual time you have left before you die. Would you actually buy this watch?
 Tikker watch

Pros:
  1.  You will be able to know how long more till your death and get everything needed to do before you died sorted.
  2. Others won't be so shock with the news of you dying, and might be able to take the news calmly.
  3. You tend to value the time and spend each and every second more wisely.
  4. You tend to value life more and might even be more adventurous.
Cons:
  1. The price of the watch might be too pricy.
  2. You might spend the rest of your life worrying about your death.
  3. It might not work as stated and you might be just using a normal watch and feel stupid afterwards for spending such a big amount of money for nothing. (P.s you might actually end up feeling happy due to not dying as predicted by the watch.)

Tell me what you guys think? For me if I were to wear that watch and know I will only be alive in a month time. I most likely quit my job and travel the world if I have the money or spend each and every moment with my love ones. Do things I will never do and  feed myself with all sorts of amazing food as I'm such a foodie.
